Motorola Unveils Moto Pad 2026: Sleek 5G Tablet with Stunning 2.5K Display and Smart Connect Features
Motorola announced the Moto Pad (2026) — its first tablet in a long time aimed at the global market. The novelty is positioned as a budget device for multimedia and on-the-go work, combining stylish design and 5G support.
Key Features
The tablet features an 11” display with an impressive 2.5K resolution for its segment and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device's body is made of metal in a premium Pantone Bronze Green color, and its thickness is less than 7 mm.
Technical Specifications:
The Moto Pad (2026) is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor (with 5G support) — it can't be considered powerful, but such a chipset is quite enough for basic tasks. It is complemented by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage with the possibility of expansion via microSD up to 2 TB.
Decent autonomy is provided by a 7040 mAh battery — the manufacturer promises up to 12 hours of continuous video playback. Charging support of 20 watts is included.
The tablet has an 8 MP main camera and a 5 MP front camera — not much, but suitable for simple shots and video calls.
A system of four stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support will ensure high-quality sound.
Features and Ecosystem
One of the main highlights of the device is the support of Smart Connect technology. It allows the tablet to seamlessly interact with Motorola smartphones and PCs: users can stream apps, quickly transfer files, and use the tablet as a second monitor. The device also retains the classic 3.5 mm headphone jack and is splash-resistant to IP52 standard.
Of course, the novelty also supports Motorola's proprietary AI functions.
Price and Availability
The Moto Pad (2026) will go on sale on April 30, 2026.
