Forza Horizon 6 Unveils Massive Japan Map with Stunning Cities and Scenic Routes
In just a month, the release of the highly anticipated racing game Forza Horizon 6 will take place, and developers from Playground Games continue to reveal its main features.
We already know about 550 racing cars, revamped game modes, and a focus on Japan's deep car culture, and now the creators have shown the full game map.
There Will Be Plenty to Race On
Unfortunately, there is currently no exact information about the map's area, but earlier statements hinted that Forza Horizon 6 will offer the largest expanses in the series' history, and while players explored Mexican territories with an area of 107 km² in the fifth part, it is expected that the new game will provide 160-200 km² of meticulously recreated locations in Japan for races and trips. Tokyo will become the largest metropolis in the franchise's history. It is claimed that the urban area is 5 times larger than any city in previous installments (including Edinburgh or Guadalajara).
In Forza Horizon 6, players will encounter world-renowned routes inspired by the iconic C1 loop road and Ginkgo Avenue, as well as mountain passes like Mount Haruna and the scenic Bandai-Azuma Skyline.
Japan is filled with beautiful landscapes and stunning contrasts of rural and urban areas, modern and traditional elements, with diverse biomes and seasons.
When to Expect
The release of Forza Horizon 6 will take place on May 19 on PC and Xbox Series, as well as in the Game Pass catalog, and later the game will be available on PS5.
