GTA VI Online Rumored to Launch a Month After Main Game Release: What to Expect

RockStar and Take-Two have not yet confirmed the development of an online mode in GTA VI, but its concept proved so successful in the previous part that no one doubts it will return, albeit on a qualitatively different level.

The first information has appeared online about when gamers will be able to start creating joint chaos in the sunny state of Leon and, of course, in the city of Vice City.

What is known

Insider TheGhostOfHope, who made a reputation for accurate leaks about the Call of Duty series, reported that Grand Theft Auto (VI) Online will launch a month after the release of the main game, which is scheduled for November 19.

It's up to you to decide whether to believe me or not, but I've been informed that the online mode for GTA 6 is planned to launch a month after the game's release.

The announced timeline sounds quite realistic, especially considering RockStar's previous experience: recall that the GTA Online servers were launched in 2013, two weeks after the release of GTA 5, but the game suffered from a huge number of bugs and connection problems, so testing of Red Dead Online began a month after the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 in fall 2018, and the multiplayer game was released even later. It is likely that the new GTA Online will also undergo testing before its full launch.

GTA VI is currently announced only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
