Huawei Unveils Retro-Inspired Pura 90 Pro Lineup: Launching April 20 with Stunning New Colors

The Chinese brand Huawei announced the presentation date of its next flagship smartphone series: the Huawei Pura 90 lineup will be unveiled on April 20.

This year, the company's strategy has changed: according to preliminary data, it will focus on two top models — Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max. Insiders report that the Ultra version release was canceled in this generation.

Retro hits style design

The appearance of the new products will be a nod to the classics: the smartphones will have flat metal edges and bright gradient colors reminiscent of the legendary Huawei P20 Pro. The front panel will feature a display with record narrow bezels, and the recognizable triangular camera block will be retained on the back.

The manufacturer has prepared a wide range of shades for each model:

• Huawei Pura 90 Pro: Mulberry Black, Coconut White, Orange Soda, and Pink Guava.
• Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max: Obsidian Black, Dawn Gold, Purple Sunset, Orange Ocean, and Emerald Lake.

The camera block will include a main sensor, ultra-wide-angle lens, and periscopic telephoto lens under the XMAGE system, which is expected to improve image post-processing and zoom performance.

The new products will run on the new Kirin chip with AI functions and under HarmonyOS 6.
