Polish studio Fumi Games is finalizing preparations for the release of the unusual noir shooter Mouse: P.I. For Hire, created in the visual aesthetic of early Disney cartoons.

The game has attracted a lot of public attention, and to reassure players that they can start playing from day one, the developers released detailed system requirements.

Will Run on Any Computer

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is incredibly styled after classic 1930s cartoons and looks really cool, but its graphics are quite modest from a technical standpoint, allowing the shooter to run on almost any computer, especially on low and medium settings. The requirements include a GeForce GTX 1060, 6 GB of VRAM, 12 GB of RAM, and only 11 GB of storage space, and it doesn't have to be an SSD.

About the Game

Let us remind you that in Mouse: P.I. For Hire, classic American animation is harmoniously combined with a grim story about corruption, organized crime, and the personal demons of the main character, Jack Pepper — a private detective who stands against the outlaws and corrupt authorities of Mouseburg. His voice will be provided by Troy Baker, who has dubbed significant characters in iconic games, such as Joel from The Last of Us, Higgs from Death Stranding, and the protagonist in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Players can expect a dramatic storyline, thrilling shootouts, dark humor, and battles with creative bosses.

The aesthetics and plot of Mouse: P.I. For Hire are perfectly accentuated by the jazz music typical of the 1930s.

When to Expect

The release of Mouse: P.I. For Hire is scheduled for April 16, 2026, on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and both Nintendo Switch.

The shooter will cost $30. For this price, buyers will get a unique game that takes 12 to 20 hours to complete, depending on the player's style.
