Apple Faces Memory Shortage: High-End Mac mini and Mac Studio Unavailable in U.S.
Even the largest brands cannot protect themselves from the influence of the unstable situation in the market of RAM and other components, and the information discovered by journalists from the portal 9to5Mac only confirms this.
They noticed that in the American Apple store, Mac mini with 32 and 64 GB of RAM and Mac Studio at 128 and 256 GB became temporarily unavailable for purchase, and back in March, Apple removed Mac Studio with 512 GB from sale.
At the same time, more modest computer configurations can be ordered, but they are also delivered with large delays — up to three months
Apple has not made any statements regarding this situation, however, it is obvious that it is related precisely to the components shortage, which AI giants are rapidly buying up for data center construction.
The crisis is unlikely to subside soon, so those planning to update their Macs are advised to take care of this in advance.
