Huawei's Pura X Max: A Foldable Revolution with Stunning Design and Advanced Features
While all public attention is focused on leaks about the Galaxy Wide Fold and the iPhone Ultra (Fold), the Chinese company Huawei, which previously was the first to release the foldable smartphone Pura X with a 16:10 aspect ratio, has shown its new model with the Max prefix.
What is known
The manufacturer has published several promotional materials where it is seen that conceptually Pura X Max retains all the features of the 2025 model, but differs with an updated design. When unfolded, its aspect ratio is once again 16:10, but the rear panel has undergone significant changes: now the protruding camera module has a rounded shape and is surrounded by a thick plate with the XMAGE logo.
Notably, the lower part of the smartphone, which occupies 60% of the entire area, is visually divided into two parts with clear lines.
Huawei does not disclose details of the novelty, but it is already known that buyers will be offered four colors: blue, orange, black/deep gray, and white.
According to leaks, the Pura X Max will feature a 7.69” WQHD+ internal display and a 5.5” external one. The heart of the smartphone will be the new Kirin 9030 processor.
The official presentation of Huawei Pura X Max will take place on April 20 at a grand event where the flagship smartphones Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max will also be presented.
Pre-orders have already started in China.
