STALKER 2 Unveils 'Sealed Truth' DLC: Dive into Horror with New X-18 Lab Mission
Ukrainian studio GSC Game World pleased fans of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl with a major content update called “Sealed Truth,” which replaces patch 1.9.
This story DLC (free) serves as a sort of prequel to the major add-on Cost of Hope, which will be released in the summer and will offer an extensive storyline that complements the main story.
What is known
Sealed Truth adds an atmospheric mission to STALKER 2, which starts with a dialogue with a technician nicknamed Soldering Iron. He will offer Skif to uncover the mystery of Laboratory X-18, where eerie experiments were conducted.
As previously stated, the developers have added more horror elements to the new quest to emphasize the atmosphere of a place where a technological disaster once occurred and nothing has improved since.
There were also other improvements. For instance, additional artwork for loading screens was introduced into STALKER 2, fewer strong mutants now appear in difficult expeditions, a number of bugs have been fixed, and the quest “Dark Dungeon” no longer disappears when completing the last story mission.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is available on Xbox Series, PC, and PlayStation 5.
