Earlier this year, Motorola announced a partnership with the British manufacturer Bulit Group, and now, four months later, the company announced their joint product - Motorola Defy 2021.

What we know

This is the first Defy smartphone since 2012. It received a shock-resistant body and hardware, like the Moto G9 Play. That is, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS panel. It has a resolution of HD + and is covered with tempered glass Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. At the top of the screen there is a teardrop-shaped cutout for the front camera at 8 MP. The body of the smartphone is plastic. It has a carabiner hole and IP68 certification. According to Motorola, the smartphone is not afraid of falls from heights up to 1.8 meters. Also, the device can operate at temperatures from -25°C to +55°C.

On the back of the Motorola Defy 2021, they placed a fingerprint scanner and a triple main camera. The main sensor received a resolution of 48 MP. It is complemented by two 2 MP sensors (macromodule and depth sensor). The novelty is powered by a Snapdragon 662 chip paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM. The device was also equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. It supports 20W fast charging. The smartphone comes with the Android 11 operating system and the proprietary Moto UX shell.
