Vivo X300 Ultra: The Dual 200MP Camera Phone Set for Global Launch with Hefty Price Tag
Vivo officially confirmed what insiders have long reported — European and American buyers will not have to wait long for the global release of the most advanced photo flagship Vivo X300 Ultra, which debuted in China at the end of March. Let us recall, this smartphone is the first in the world to feature two 200 MP sensors.
Not long to wait
The international launch of the X300 Ultra and the more modest Vivo X300 FE model will take place soon. The manufacturer has not yet announced the exact sales start date, but it is already known that in Spain it will take place on April 24, and it is unlikely that it will happen on a different day in other EU countries.
Vivo does not disclose prices, but earlier the authoritative German insider Roland Quandt reported that European buyers will have to pay €1900 for the 16 GB + 1 TB configuration, and with the 400mm G2 Ultra teleconverter included, the new camera phone will cost €2300. For comparison, in China the top version of the Vivo X300 Ultra with 16 GB/1 TB costs $1300 (converted from yuan).
What buyers will pay such money for
The main feature of the Vivo X300 Ultra is an advanced camera system developed jointly with Zeiss. The smartphone received a “3+2” configuration with three main modules and additional accessories. At the core is the 200 MP main Sony LYTIA 901 sensor, supplemented by a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a periscope telephoto lens also at 200 MP. All modules are equipped with optical stabilization, and the device supports 4K video recording at 120 FPS with a 10-bit Log profile.
The smartphone features a 6.82” AMOLED display with 2K resolution, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and peak brightness up to 4500 nits.
Performance is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 12 or 16 GB of RAM and storage up to 1 TB.
High autonomy is ensured by a 6600mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
