Casio has introduced a new premium watch model, the Oceanus Manta — OCW-S6000AP-1A. The novelty has already been announced for the Japanese market.

What is known

The model is part of the Indigo Ocean series — Awa Indigo and features a characteristic design with blue sub-dials made of mother-of-pearl. The traditional Japanese Awa indigo dyeing technique was used for their creation, providing deep blue hues. The main black dial has a wave pattern, and the sapphire bezel with spiral processing enhances the maritime aesthetic.

The watch is equipped with an analog mechanism with three hands and additional indicators, including date display, 24-hour format, second time zone, and day of the week. Its functionality is complemented by Bluetooth connectivity and support for the proprietary Casio Watches app, allowing automatic time correction and smartphone location.

The OCW-S6000AP-1A also supports Multiband 6 radio synchronization and provides accurate time in 27 cities around the world. Among other capabilities are a stopwatch accurate to 1 second, power-saving mode, and the Tough Solar power system, which extends the device's autonomy.

The case is made of titanium and measures 47.1 × 42.5 × 9.2 mm. The watch is waterproof to 100 meters and comes with a metal bracelet.

Sales in Japan will start on June 12 at a price of ¥495,000 (approximately $3100). The model will be released in a limited edition of 700 pieces.
