The Macworld portal shared exclusive information about the colors that the future Apple flagships — iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max — will receive. Previously, insiders claimed that a rich red will replace the famous Cosmic Orange in 2026, and information obtained from Macworld sources confirmed that the rumors about the flagship color are close to the truth, but with a slight adjustment.

What is known

At the moment, Apple has not approved the final body colors of the new iPhones and continues to experiment, but a dark burgundy, close to wine color, will still be offered to buyers. Journalists have named it Dark Cherry and expressed confidence that it will look as striking and recognizable as “cosmic orange,” but it will not be as bright.

Apple is also considering iPhone 18 Pro in silver, dark gray, and pale blue tones. The publication released its own renders to illustrate the information.

In addition, Macworld reported that the first foldable iPhone Ultra (Fold) will be available in silvery white, as well as deep dark blue (indigo), similar to the rich blue of iPhone 17 Pro.

The publication additionally confirmed that the foldable iPhone will have a thickness of only 4.7 mm when unfolded.
