Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Rumored to Pack Massive 10,000mAh Battery and 100W Fast Charging

Xiaomi is preparing a new generation of Redmi Note smartphones, and according to preliminary data, the lineup may feature models with batteries up to 10,000 mAh. This was reported by insider Digital Chat Station.

What is known

According to leaks, the manufacturer may skip one generation and immediately proceed to the Redmi Note 17 series. This approach has already been used by other Chinese brands. The previous Redmi Note 15 lineup in versions for the Chinese market received 7000 mAh batteries in Pro and Pro+ models.

It is also reported that smartphones may support fast charging with a power of up to 100 W. Among other characteristics mentioned in leaks: a main camera of 200 MP, a display with a resolution of 1.5K and increased refresh rate, a metal body frame, and an optical fingerprint scanner.

The devices are expected to run on MediaTek's Dimensity series mid-range processors. Simultaneously, Vivo and iQOO are working on new models in this segment. The announcement of the new Xiaomi series is forecasted by the end of 2026.
