Samsung Galaxy M32: 90Hz AMOLED screen, MediaTek Helio G80 chip and 6000mAh battery for $200

Samsung, as promised, announced today in India its new budget M-series smartphone.

What we know

The device came out with the name Galaxy M32. It received a plastic ribbed body in two colors, as well as a Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a diagonal of 6.4 inches and a resolution of FHD +. The panel supports a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a maximum brightness of 800 nits. The screen is covered by tempered glass Gorilla Glass 5.

The MediaTek Helio G80 processor paired with 4/6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB of eMMC 5.1 ROM is responsible for the device's performance, while the 6000 mAh battery is responsible for battery life. It supports 25-watt charging, but unfortunately it comes with a 15-watt power supply.

As for the cameras, there are five of them in the smartphone: one front 20 MP and the main one with four sensors 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP. The Galaxy M32 also has a slot for a microSD memory card, GPS, LTE, Wi-Fi b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, a headphone jack and a side fingerprint scanner. Out of the box, the device has Android 11 operating system with One UI 3.1 shell. There is no information about NFC.

Price and when to expect

Galaxy M32 will go on sale in India on June 28. The basic version for 4/64 GB will cost $200, and the top-end version for 6/128 GB - $229. When the device appears in other regions, there is no information.
