In addition to the gaming smartphone OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, the Chinese brand also announced new TWS headphones Buds Ace 3 — a model for young audiences and gamers that may become one of the most attractive offerings in the mid-budget segment.

What is known

The main technical achievement of Buds Ace 3 will be the active noise cancellation system (ANC). And if in the previous generation this indicator was already decent, now the new product aspires to leadership in its class with a noise cancellation level of up to 55 dB. This will effectively cut out not only the hum of transport but also high-frequency sounds, such as voices or office equipment noise.

According to the official teaser, the total operating time of Buds Ace 3 (with a case) will be up to 54 hours (most likely, this is without noise cancellation enabled). And the earbuds themselves will last significantly longer without a recharge than their predecessors, making them ideal for long-term use. Fast charging support will allow for several hours of listening after just 10 minutes in the case.

OnePlus continues to focus on the gaming experience. Buds Ace 3 will feature a special FPS Audio Tuning function. This is a software audio profile setting that enhances critically important sounds in games: enemy footsteps, gunshots, and the direction of transport movement. Combined with low signal latency, this provides a real competitive advantage in mobile games.

Externally, the headphones will retain their recognizable style: an in-ear design with elegant rounded "stems." The novelty will be released in two striking designs — Titanium Silver and Interstellar Black.

Water and splash resistance according to the IP55 standard will allow them to be used during workouts and in rainy weather.

When to expect

Sales in China are expected to start immediately after the presentation at the end of April, and the global release (possibly under a different name, for example, in the Nord lineup) will take place in early summer. According to preliminary data, the price will remain within $30-40 (converted from yuan).
