iPhone 11 and SE 2nd Gen Left Behind as iOS 27 Rolls Out: Find Out Which Models Miss the Update

June is approaching, which means the annual WWDC conference will take place, where Apple will present iOS 27 (and other updates to its operating systems).

Early this summer, the first developers will get access to the beta version of the new OS, and in September it will be released for free access. Of course, not all iPhone models will receive the update, and now we know which ones will be left out.

What is known

The reputable Chinese insider Instant Digital has reported which devices will not receive iOS 27. They are:

• iPhone 11
• iPhone 11 Pro
• iPhone 11 Pro Max
• iPhone SE (2nd generation)

Thus, owners of models starting with iPhone 12 and iPhone SE 3 need not fear that their gadgets will stop being updated and receiving new features.

Recall, WWDC 2026 will be held from June 8 to 12.
