Former CD Projekt Veterans to Unveil Ambitious Vampire RPG 'The Blood of Dawnwalker' – Release Date Coming Soon!

The Polish studio Rebel Wolves, founded by former CD Projekt employees, announced a large presentation dedicated to its first, but incredibly ambitious game The Blood of Dawnwalker.

What is known

Gamers are invited to a 45-minute stream, which will be held on April 28 at 18-00 (CEST) on the studio's YouTube channel. The developers promise to reveal important details of the vampire RPG, show the story trailer, its open world, talk about key mechanics, publish system requirements, and most importantly, announce the release date of The Blood of Dawnwalker.

Recently, game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz declared that the game is ready for release and only the formalities of obtaining certificates on different platforms separate it from allowing gamers to immerse themselves in the world of Carpathian vampires.

For those unaware

In the new game from the co-authors of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, the plot centers on a clan of ancient Carpathian vampires. In the XIV century, Europe was ravaged by a plague epidemic, but vampires are immune to this disease and can even save mortals, but this will not only expand the power of vampires but also partially turn humans into bloodsuckers.

The main character of The Blood of Dawnwalker — the peasant Cohen — is forced to seek the help of vampires and has partially become one of them. Now he is torn between his humanity and new vampire nature, and only the player's actions will determine which way the scales will tilt.

The developers promise enormous variability and non-linearity of the plot, exciting additional quests that will influence all events in the game, and deep relationships between characters.

The authors have moved away from the usual division into main and additional quests and will offer a concept in which there is no central quest, as they are all equally important. Completing each quest moves the in-game time forward, and after a month (in-game), the game ends with one or another ending.

This coming summer, Rebel Wolves promises to host several large-scale presentations of The Blood of Dawnwalker.
