Bloomberg: Google Pixel 5a with OLED display and Snapdragon 765G chip will be presented in August

In April, Google confirmed that it is working on a budget smartphone Pixel 5a, and now there is information when the new product will hit the market.

What we know

According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Google is planning to unveil the Pixel 5a in August. Moreover, the device will go on sale in the same month.

As a reminder, the Pixel 5a will look and feel similar to last year's Pixel 4a 5G. The smartphone will have a 6.2-inch OLED display with a hole for the front camera in the left corner, a classic fingerprint scanner on the back, a dual main camera, stereo speakers and a headphone jack. The Pixel 5a is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 765G processor.

The device should cost around $400.
