Samsung announced Galaxy F22 with a 90 Hz screen, 6000 mAh battery and Helio G80 chip for $168
Samsung continues to expand its line of budget Galaxy F smartphones with the launch of Galaxy F22.
What we know
The leaks were confirmed, the device has become an almost complete copy of the recently presented Galaxy A22 4G. The smartphone received a plastic case with several colors, an MOLED display with HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a side fingerprint scanner, as well as a 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth sensor) and front camera for 13 MP.
The novelty comes in two memory modifications: 4/64 GB or 6/128 GB. If desired, the drive can be expanded using the memory card slot. By the way, it is separate here (microSD + 2 SIM).
The only difference between Galaxy F22 and Galaxy A22 4G is the battery. The novelty got a 6000 mAh battery instead of 5000 mAh. It charges via USB-C port using a 15-watt power adapter. Out of the box, the device has Android 11 operating system with a proprietary One UI shell.
Price and when to expect
Galaxy F22 will go on sale in India on July 13th. The basic version for 4/64 GB will cost $168, and the top-end 6/128 GB - $195.
