Bloomberg: Apple plans to release an updated iPad mini in the fall

We have already written more than once that Apple is going to launch a new iPad Mini on the market. Now we know the timing of the device release.

When to expect

According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Apple will release a new product in the fall. According to Gurman, this will be the largest tablet update in 9 years. The device is expected with an iPad Air-style design. That is, the iPad mini will receive a flat-ended body and a screen with reduced bezels. 

According to previous leaks, the iPad mini will also have a USB-C port instead of the proprietary Lightning connector, improved stereo speakers, an Apple A14 processor with a 5G modem, and support for the proprietary Apple Pencil stylus, which will lose some features and become more compact. The tablet should enter the market in gray, black and gold colors.
