iPhone 20 Leak: Radical New Design with Curved Display and Enhanced AI Performance Unveiled by Insider

Popular blogger and FrontPageTech (FPT) channel author Jon Prosser, whom Apple is trying to hold legally accountable for multiple leaks of its developments, shared a new exclusive — the first images and specifications of the anniversary iPhone, which in fact will be the nineteenth, but for a beautiful marketing move will get the number "20".

The tech blogger showed images of the iPhone 20, created based on information from his sources within the company. The renders confirm a radical design update: the device will receive a display curved on all sides, and, as already known, Samsung will become the exclusive supplier of OLED panels for it.

Prosser also confirmed that a FaceID sensor system will be located under the display. The visible front camera and the Dynamic Island cutout will also become a thing of the past.

Notably, the images of the rear panel show only a dual main camera, whereas Apple's current flagships traditionally use three sensors. This may indicate that the new design is intended for basic versions. As for the camera block, it is expected to feature a new HDR sensor aimed at expanding mobile photography capabilities.

In addition to external changes, the source reports a number of key technical updates. Apple intends to abandon traditional lithium-ion batteries in favor of silicon-anode technology — this solution will allow for a larger capacity battery in the same body size and extend the device's battery life.

The hardware foundation of the iPhone 20 will be the new A21 processor, the production of which may be transferred to Intel's factories. Another feature of the new device is expected to be the use of HBM type RAM, which was previously used mainly in server solutions. Its integration is intended to significantly improve performance when working with artificial intelligence and data processing. According to Korean media, Samsung has already developed a way to adapt HBM memory for mobile devices, opening up the possibility of its supply to Apple.

Just to emphasize, all this information does not concern the iPhone 18 series, the release of which is expected in September 2026. There is a slight chance that the anniversary smartphone will be mentioned at the developers' conference (WWDC), which will take place from June 8 to 12, but most likely the first information about the novelty will only be revealed next year.
