Sony has revealed the June 2026 PlayStation Plus monthly games a day early, tied to the ongoing Days of Play promotional window. All three titles are available to claim right now through July 6, and for the first time in recent memory, every tier — Essential, Extra, and Premium — gets the same games on the same day.

The standout addition is Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition, the survival game from Obsidian Entertainment where you're shrunk to insect size and must survive a backyard full of giant ants, spiders, and worse. After building a large following on Xbox Game Pass, this is its first proper push onto PlayStation hardware — a notable shift for a title that spent years as an Xbox and PC exclusive. It runs on both PS5 and PS4.

The lineup

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the co-op sci-fi shooter from Fatshark, set in the grimdark universe most players will recognize from Space Marine or the Vermintide series. Its 2022 PC launch was bumpy, but the game has improved substantially since and its PS5 version — exclusive to that console — launched in a far stronger state. If you want something to play with friends over the summer, this is probably the most substantial of the three.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 rounds out the month: a platform fighter featuring Spongebob, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and other Nickelodeon characters. Think Super Smash Bros. with a Saturday-morning cartoon skin. It plays on both PS5 and PS4.

Timing and context

The announcement landed during Days of Play 2026, Sony's annual promotional period running May 27–June 10, which currently offers PS Plus annual plans at up to 33% off. That context matters: Sony raised PS Plus prices for new subscribers earlier this year, and a co-op-heavy lineup aimed at group play is a reasonable response to subscriber scrutiny.

One more note for active subscribers: EA Sports FC 26, last month's headliner, remains claimable until June 16. And PS Plus Extra and Premium members get Destiny 2: Legacy Collection from June 9 — Bungie's complete final edition of the shooter, wrapping up years of content support.

All three June games are available to add to your library now via the PlayStation Blog.
