GIGABYTE has unveiled five new AORUS ELITE gaming monitors at Computex 2026, covering both Mini LED and OLED technologies. The headline model is the FM275K16P — a 27-inch glossy 5K Mini LED display that GIGABYTE calls the world's first of its kind. Prices and release dates have not been announced.

The 5K Mini LED

The FM275K16P packs 218 pixels per inch across its 5K panel, matching the sharpness many creators need for detailed work while still chasing high refresh rates for gaming. It supports tri-mode switching: 5K at 165Hz, 4K at 220Hz, or QHD at 330Hz — so you can trade resolution for speed depending on the game. The panel carries DisplayHDR 1000 certification and hits 1,250 nits peak brightness, backed by 2,304 local dimming zones. GIGABYTE also includes an AI Super Resolution upscaler exclusive to this model, per the GIGABYTE press release.

It's worth noting the 5K Mini LED category is suddenly crowded. LG's 27GM950B and MSI's MAG 271KRAW18 both launched at Computex 2026 with the same 218 PPI spec, as tracked by DisplayNinja. GIGABYTE's glossy RealBlack coating is the main differentiator — the LG and MSI models use matte finishes.

The OLED lineup

Alongside the Mini LED flagship, GIGABYTE showed four OLED models: the FO32U24GP, FO32U24G, FO27Q28G, and FO27Q54G. All use fourth-generation Tandem WOLED panels with RealBlack glossy surfaces and peak brightness of 1,500 nits.

The standout is the 32-inch FO32U24GP. It runs 4K at 240Hz in standard mode, then drops to 1080p at 480Hz via dual-mode switching — a setup aimed squarely at competitive esports players who want one screen for both formats. Response time is 0.03ms GtG. It also gets DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 (80Gbps bandwidth), which is the fastest DP spec available and currently pairs best with Nvidia's RTX 50-series GPUs. The other OLED models include DisplayPort 2.1 at 80Gbps but without UHBR20.

All five monitors share HDMI 2.1 with eARC, AI OLED CARE PRO burn-in protection, and GIGABYTE's Tactical Features — a suite of gaming overlays including a customizable crosshair and HUD. HyperNits HDR enhancement, which boosts HDR brightness by around 30%, is present across the range, per VideoCardz.

What's missing

No pricing or availability has been confirmed for the US or UK. UK retailers like Scan and Overclockers typically stock new AORUS monitors within two to four months of a Computex announcement. Until GIGABYTE sets a price, the FM275K16P's "world's first" claim is hard to evaluate against already-available competitors sitting around £1,000–£1,200.
