Cuktech CP13: a $49.99 Qi2 power bank that snaps onto your iPhone
Cuktech has launched the CP13, a Qi2-certified 10,000mAh magnetic power bank, on Amazon US at $49.99. The device snaps to the back of any Qi2-compatible iPhone and delivers 15W wireless charging without needing a MagSafe-branded accessory. For iPhone 17 owners looking for a capable, wallet-friendly top-up option, it lands at exactly the right moment—right at the price of premium rivals like Mophie.
The specs
The CP13 charges an iPhone 17 roughly 1.7 times on a full battery, and an iPhone 17 Pro about 1.4 times, according to Gizmochina (June 2026). Wired output tops out at 30W via USB-C—enough to push an iPhone to around 50% in 30 minutes. The bank itself recharges at 30W over the same USB-C port, so you're not waiting all night to top it up.
Weight sits at 220g, roughly the same as an iPhone 15 Pro Max. That's noticeable on your hand but not a deal-breaker for daily carry.
Design details
The body is wrapped in silicone, which protects phone glass and metal from scratches when attached. A built-in metal kickstand props the phone up for video calls or streaming while it charges. A digital display shows an exact battery percentage rather than the usual four-dot indicator—a small but genuinely useful upgrade. Cuktech also includes a temperature control system that monitors heat output when the wireless coil and wired pass-through are running simultaneously; a relevant safety point given that some competing brands faced recall risks in 2025 over overheating, per The Gadgeteer (May 2026).

The competition
At $49.99, the CP13 sits level with the Mophie Qi2 10K—a brand with a long safety track record. The UGREEN MagFlow offers Qi2.2 at 25W but costs $60–90 depending on the sale. Cuktech is the newer name in the room, and independent long-term testing isn't widely available yet, so buyers willing to pay the Mophie premium for brand confidence have a reasonable case.
The CP13 is live now on Amazon US and the Cuktech official site at $49.99. UK availability has not been independently confirmed at launch, despite Cuktech listing Amazon.co.uk as a distribution channel.
