Logitech's first foldable mouse is here — and it matches the Arc Mouse price

Logitech has launched the Mobi Fold, its first foldable mouse, priced at $79.99 in the US and £69.99 in the UK. That puts it at exactly the same price as Microsoft's Surface Arc Mouse — though the Mobi Fold adds a physical folding mechanism and multi-device Bluetooth switching that the Arc lacks. It's available now in Graphite, Lilac, and Off White.

The design

When unfolded, the Mobi Fold snaps into a pointed arc shape — instantly familiar to anyone who's used a Surface Arc Mouse. Folded, it collapses to under 2cm thick and roughly 6.5cm in each direction, about the size of a TWS earbuds case. At 79g, it slips into a jacket pocket without much effort.

The hinge is rated for 50,000 fold cycles, which Logitech translates to 15 years of daily use. Heise Online physically tested the detent strength and found it solid in early use, though long-term durability data is still limited. The body is covered in soft-touch silicone.

The tradeoffs

Logitech dropped the scroll wheel entirely, replacing it with a touch-scroll strip — the same divisive choice Apple made with the Magic Mouse. Reviews from Engadget note the strip works well for light office use but won't satisfy anyone who relies on a ratchet wheel for precise scrolling. There are no side buttons; customisation happens through the Logi Options+ app.

The base model connects over Bluetooth only — no USB dongle — which means slightly higher latency. A Business variant adds a Logi Bolt USB receiver for $84.99 / roughly £74.99, worth considering if you game or need the snappiest cursor response. Bluetooth connects to up to three devices, switchable with a button tap.

Battery

Battery life is claimed at 30 days per full charge. One minute on USB-C yields 22 hours of use — genuinely useful if you forget to charge overnight. The battery is user-replaceable, which satisfies EU sustainability rules. Heise reported 75% charge remaining after two weeks of testing, which tracks with the manufacturer claim.

The Mobi Fold is available now via Logitech's website and US retailers including TikTok Shop at $79.99. UK availability at Currys and John Lewis has not been confirmed at launch, per The Register. If you want something closer to a traditional portable mouse with a scroll wheel, Logitech's own MX Anywhere 3S sits at a similar price and adds side buttons.
