Portronics Aero 10: A Square Power Bank With a Built-In Lanyard Cable

Indian accessories brand Portronics has launched the Aero 10, a 10,000mAh power bank that stands out for its near-square shape and a flat USB-C cable built directly into the body. The device launched in India on June 20 at ₹1,249 (around $13), a 50% discount off the listed retail price of ₹2,499. There's no confirmed US, UK, or EU availability yet.

The look

The Aero 10 ditches the standard elongated slab shape in favour of a compact square body with heavily rounded corners — closer to a compact mirror than a traditional battery pack. It weighs 245g and comes in black, navy blue, and mocha. The built-in flat USB-C cable serves double duty: it charges connected devices and acts as a carry loop, cutting out the need to fish a cable from the bottom of a bag. A separate USB-C port on the body supports simultaneous charging of two devices.

The specs

Capacity sits at 10,000mAh — enough to fully recharge most smartphones once or twice. Output tops out at 20W via USB Power Delivery. That's fine for phones, earbuds, and smartwatches, but won't meaningfully charge a laptop or tablet at speed. For 2026, 20W is on the low end: the Ugreen Nexode 10,000mAh delivers 55W and is available on Amazon UK at £43.99, while Xiaomi's 10,000mAh model hits 67W at around €40 across Europe.

Availability

Right now, the Aero 10 is sold exclusively in India through the Portronics website, Amazon India, and Flipkart. No US, UK, or European distributor has been announced, and the device does not appear on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, or any Western retailer. Portronics products do occasionally reach international marketplaces, but there's no timeline for that here.

The Aero 10 makes a strong case on price and design novelty. The integrated cable-lanyard solves a genuine annoyance, and the square shape genuinely differentiates it on a shelf. But at 20W, it's better suited to keeping your phone and earbuds alive through a commute than replacing a proper fast charger. If you need something with real wattage today, the Ugreen Nexode is the more capable — if significantly pricier — option already available in the UK.
