The headline change: every Pixel 11 model now starts at 256GB, and the 128GB tier has been dropped entirely. The decision to drop 128GB is a deliberate storage-floor shift. All four models — Pixel 11, Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold — now open at 256GB, with Pro variants also offering 512GB and 1TB options. The 1TB configuration will only be available in Midnight Haze (black), per AndroidAuthority.
Google's reasoning tracks with what Samsung cited for the Galaxy S26's own price increase: a global memory chip shortage is pushing costs up across the industry. Apple held the line with the iPhone 17; Google splits the difference by lifting the storage floor instead of hiking base prices outright.

Colors and timing
