TCL's 22-Speaker Soundbar Has B&O Tuning and 1,420W of Power — But You Can't Buy It
TCL just launched its flagship Q95K soundbar in China, and on paper it's a monster: 22 physical drivers, 11.1.4 channels, a peak output of 1,420W, and HDMI 2.1 ports that support 4K at 144Hz passthrough. The catch — none of it is available in the US or UK right now, and TCL has given no timeline for a Western launch.
The hardware
The Q95K ships as a four-piece system: the main bar, a wireless subwoofer, and two wireless rear speakers. All 22 drivers run across 16 physical channels, covering Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. The subwoofer uses two opposing 7-inch drivers to cancel cabinet vibration at low frequencies — a design choice that prioritizes deep bass control over raw volume. Frequency response spans 30Hz to 20kHz, and a MediaTek MT8532 processor manages 12 separate amplifier chips to reduce crosstalk between driver groups.
The TCL Q95K's main soundbar bar unit houses aluminum-cone drivers with neodymium magnets across multiple channels.
Sound tuning was handled in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen. Users can adjust audio profiles through B&O;'s Beosonic interface inside the TCL mobile app — a practical differentiator for a soundbar at this price point.
Connectivity
Three HDMI 2.1 ports (48Gbps each) cover eARC, VRR, and ALLM. That last feature — Auto Low Latency Mode — automatically switches the system into a low-delay state when a games console is detected, which makes the gaming positioning clear. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2, and Spotify Connect round out the wireless options.
A feature called T-Chord syncs audio with the drivers in compatible TCL TVs. Room calibration and automatic profile switching between wall-mount and tabletop positions are also included.

Not coming to stores near you — yet
Digital Trends confirmed there is currently zero US availability for the Q95K, despite TCL selling TVs and older soundbars (Q75H, Q85H) through Best Buy. What Hi-Fi contacted TCL about wider availability and received no response; they put the UK price equivalent at around £889.
TCL also launched two lower-tier models alongside the Q95K: the Q85K (16 drivers, 1,180W, ~$886) and Q75K (14 drivers, 580W, ~$694). All three are China-only for now. The Q95K is priced at 6,999 yuan, roughly $1,034 at current rates.
Tech journalist John Archer has suggested a Q4 2026 release and flagged IFA Berlin — scheduled for late August and early September — as a likely reveal point for global plans. TCL has not confirmed this.
TCL launched three new soundbar models in China on July 27, 2026: the Q95K, Q85K, and Q75K.
If the IFA hint holds, Western pricing and availability could surface within weeks. Until then, the Q95K stays out of reach.
