Google Pixel 11 specs and prices leak — and the base model now costs more than you think

A detailed spec sheet for the entire Google Pixel 11 lineup has leaked ahead of the August 12 announcement, revealing pricing that looks familiar on the surface but hides a meaningful cost increase underneath. The base Pixel 11 starts at $899 in the US — the same number as before — but Google has eliminated the 128GB storage tier entirely, meaning there is no longer a cheaper entry point. Every buyer now pays for doubled storage by default, per GSMArena.

Four models, one chip

All four phones — Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold — run Google's new Tensor G6 processor paired with a Titan M3 security chip. Every model ships with Android 17, supports Qi2 wireless charging, and comes without a charger in the box.

The standard Pixel 11 is the lightest and cheapest of the four. It carries a 6.3-inch OLED Actua display running at 2424 × 1080 pixels, with an adaptive 60–120 Hz refresh rate and 3000-nit peak brightness. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 covers the front. The battery sits at 4,985 mAh with 30W wired charging support. On the camera side, there's a 48MP main lens (f/1.7) and a 13MP ultrawide (f/2.2), plus Super Res Zoom up to 30x and a 10.5MP front camera. IP68 water resistance, an under-display fingerprint reader, and 5G round out the package. It weighs 197g and measures 152.8 × 72 × 8.6mm.

The hidden price hike

The $899 price tag matches last year's model, but Android Central points out that the effective cost has risen: previously, buyers could opt for 128GB at a lower price. Now 256GB is the floor — storage options jump to 256GB and 512GB at the base, with Pro models reaching 1TB for the first time. If you would have bought the cheaper 128GB Pixel last cycle, that option is simply gone.

In the UK and EU the base price lands at €999 (roughly £860 at current rates), up from last year's entry point. The pricing was first revealed by French leaker billbil-kun and is now corroborated by leaked Amazon listings tied to Google's own storefront.

What to expect on launch day

Google is expected to officially unveil the Pixel 11 series on August 12, with retail availability beginning August 20 in the US, UK, and across Europe. No official confirmation of specs has come from Google yet — everything here is pre-announcement leak territory, though multiple independent sources converge on the same figures. If the numbers hold, the Pixel 11 arrives as a competent mid-size flagship with a processor upgrade and a pricing structure that rewards buyers who want more storage while quietly removing the budget entry rung.
