PS Plus Extra/Premium adds Kingdom Come II, Metro Exodus, and Helldivers II in August
Sony has confirmed the full PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium game catalog for August 2026, and it's one of the stronger monthly lineups in recent memory. The headliner is Kingdom Come: Deliverance II — the Czech-developed medieval RPG that sold 2 million copies in its first two weeks after launching in February 2025 — arriving on PS Plus just six months after release. For subscribers in the US and UK, most titles land on August 25, a week later than the August 18 date other regions get.
The lineup
Sony is staggering the rollout across three dates. Helldivers II dropped first on August 12, timed alongside the live "Devoid of Liberty" update — a deliberate move to spike engagement. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Vampire Survivors follow on August 18 for most regions, but US and UK subscribers have to wait until August 25 for that wave alongside Hell is Us, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodus, Umamusume Pretty Derby — Party Dash, and Dying Light 2: Stay Human.
Metro Exodus is worth flagging separately. It previously appeared on PS Plus back in June 2020, making this its second placement in six years. If you already claimed it then, you won't get anything new — but if you missed it, the post-apocalyptic shooter remains a solid pick. Premium subscribers also get two bonus titles from August 18: Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, both available via cloud streaming.
According to the PlayStation Blog official announcement, nine games exit the catalog on August 18, so act fast if you want any of them. The departures include Dead Island 2, Unicorn Overlord, and Earth Defense Force 6.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II arriving on PS Plus this quickly is notable. At $69 at retail, it sold at pace few games manage — per GameSpot, that two-million-in-two-weeks figure put it among the fastest-selling European RPGs in recent years. Its pivot to a subscription catalog less than half a year later compresses the retail window significantly, a pattern that's becoming standard as Sony leans on Extra and Premium to compete with Xbox Game Pass. If you haven't played it yet, this is the cheapest it will ever be.
