Anker MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro: 25W wireless charging with built-in cooling
Anker's upcoming MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro has cleared Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) certification under the new Qi2.2.1 standard, confirming 25W wireless charging — a 67% jump over the 15W ceiling on current MagGo models. The device hasn't been officially announced yet, but WPC database listings have a way of surfacing products weeks before a formal launch.
The speed bump
The current MagGo Power Bank 10K tops out at 15W over Qi2 — respectable, but trailing Apple's own 25W MagSafe ceiling on newer iPhones. The 2 Pro closes that gap. At 25W, a compatible iPhone will charge noticeably faster when snapped onto the back of the pack.
More power means more heat, and Anker has added a ventilation port at the bottom of the chassis to manage it. That's a notable design choice: most compact power banks rely on passive heat spreading alone. Whether the vent is enough to keep thermals in check under sustained 25W loads remains to be seen — no independent thermal data exists yet.

The look and the display
Visually, the 2 Pro sticks close to its predecessor. The foldable kickstand returns, supporting both portrait and landscape orientations. The side-mounted smart display is also back, and certification images suggest it will now identify the type of connected device — not just show a charge percentage or estimated time remaining.
Full specs aren't public yet. The current 10K model carries a 10,000 mAh cell and refills via USB-C at 27W; those figures are likely to carry over. Pricing is unknown, but current MagGo 10K models sell for around £47–49 on Anker's UK site and roughly $90 in the US — the 2 Pro's cooling hardware could push that higher.
What to watch
Qi2.2 support on Android is still limited. Galaxy S25 adds native Qi2, but 25W wireless from a third-party pack isn't guaranteed without a compatible case. For now, the 2 Pro's headline feature skews iPhone. A formal announcement is expected within weeks based on WPC certification timelines; availability in the US and UK should follow shortly after.
