1MORE Classic HQ36: Retro Headphones With LDAC and 60-Hour Battery for $80
1MORE has launched the Classic HQ36, a pair of wireless over-ear headphones priced at $79.99 on Amazon US with additional launch discounts applied at checkout. The headphones combine a retro vinyl-record aesthetic with Bluetooth 6.0, LDAC codec support, and a claimed 60-hour battery life. At this price, they're a direct shot at Sony's WH-CH720N and Anker's Soundcore Space Q45—both of which cost more.
The look
The HQ36's design takes cues from analog audio equipment: textured surfaces that echo vinyl records, protein leather ear cushions, and faux-leather trim. Two colorways are available—Maillard Brown and Jazz Black. The headphones fold flat, weigh 193g, and have a fully adjustable headband. Physical buttons handle volume, power, and ANC switching, which is a deliberate nod to the tactile feel of classic audio gear.
The sound
Inside each ear cup is a 40mm dual-magnetic driver with a composite diaphragm. The HQ36 is Hi-Res Wireless certified and supports LDAC—Sony's high-quality Bluetooth codec—which transmits roughly three times more audio data than the standard SBC codec. That matters if you're streaming lossless audio from Tidal, Apple Music, or Amazon Music HD. The headphones also support dynamic spatial audio with head-tracking and come with six preset EQ profiles in the 1MORE app, plus custom EQ controls.
ANC and battery
The QuietMax hybrid active noise cancellation system is rated at up to 36dB of noise reduction. Three modes are available: full ANC, transparency (letting ambient sound in), and ANC off. The 500mAh battery is rated for up to 60 hours of playback—well above the 30–35 hours typical for this price range—and fast charging is supported. Firmware updates arrive over the air via the app.

Availability
The HQ36 is available now on Amazon US at $79.99, per the PRNewswire launch announcement, with the wider 1MORE online store listing expected to follow. The headphones are rolling out across 43 countries globally; UK buyers should check 1moreuk.co.uk, though local sterling pricing hasn't been confirmed yet. No independent reviews are available at launch, so the claimed specs—particularly the 60-hour runtime and 36dB ANC depth—remain to be tested.
