For anyone who misses PlayStation Stars, which shut down in May 2025, this looks like its replacement.
The credits
Users started noticing a "Wallet Credits" section inside the PlayStation app as far back as February 2026, but it wasn't clear what it was for. Now it's active: players in the US who bought Blood of Dawnwalker — which recently received a major update — report receiving $10 in store credit automatically after purchase. The same reward has been spotted on Star Wars Zero Company, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Halloween, and Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1, per Notebookcheck.
The $10 flat rate appears consistent across the confirmed titles, though Sony has not explained whether the amount varies by game price or how long individual offers last.
