We have already written more than once that Apple plans to release an updated MacBook Air. Now the approximate timing of the release of the novelty has become known.

When to expect

According to a Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple's going to release the next MacBook Air in mid-2022. The novelty will be able to boast a completely new design, colors, like the iMac, and a Mini-LED screen, like the latest iPad Pro. It will be supplied by the Chinese company BOE.

The novelty is also expected with the M2 processor, which will be a continuation of the current generation M1 and will be based on the mobile SoC A15 Bionic. In addition, the device will receive a new keyboard, smaller bezels around the screen and two USB-C ports (one on each side). There is no other information about the new product yet.
