Redmi 10 announcement date revealed

Xiaomi last weekend began teasing the budget smartphone Redmi 10. The company on its Twitter page published several images of the upcoming novelty. Now its announcement date has also become known.

When to expect?

Earlier, the Redmi 10 was spotted on the Singapore online store's website in a modification with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of permanent memory. It was priced at $185. There will also be a 4/64GB version on sale, which will cost even cheaper.

The official presentation of Redmi 10 will take place already this week. The event dedicated to the premiere of the smartphone is scheduled for August 18. The upcoming novelty will be the most affordable model in the world with a 50MP camera.

Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the smartphone has an IPS display with 90Hz refresh rate, Quad camera, side biometric sensor, stereo speakers and headphone jack. The model will be available with MIUI 12.5 firmware on Android 11. Helio G88 processor and 5000 mAh battery appeared in several leaks, but not officially confirmed yet.
