Most Samsung Galaxy S22 flagships will get Snapdragon 898 processors instead of Exynos 2200
Although Samsung is due to unveil its flagship smartphone family Galaxy S22 only next year, more and more rumors and leaks about it are appearing on network. A fresh report touches on the issue of processor usage.
Exynos loses to Snapdragon
Traditionally, Samsung releases two versions of flagships for different countries - with top-of-the-line Snapdragon platforms and proprietary Exynos chips. But many users don't like this as the Exynos processors are mostly inferior to competitors from Qualcomm.
But it looks like this year users will be happy. Sources assure that most Samsung Galaxy S22 flagships will come with Snapdragon 898, while versions with Exynos 2200 will only be sold in a few markets. And even native South Korea is not included in this list . According to rumors, this is due to manufacturing problems.
Recall that currently the Exynos 2100 chip is used in European, Middle Eastern and Korean Galaxy S21 models.
meanwhile, reports paint quite a positive outlook: the Exynos 2200 is said to be as good as the A14 Bionic chip used in Apple's iPhone 12.
