Apple has updated its iCloud app for Windows users, finally adding a new password manager.

The new password manager app is now available and allows users to access and manage their iCloud passwords on Windows computers. They can add, edit, copy and paste, delete or search any usernames or passwords stored in the iCloud keychain.

With iCloud Keychain coming to full support for generating one-time passwords (OTP) for two-factor authentication (2FA) sites starting in the fall, a solution like this could be a great alternative to paid password managers.

Additionally, with iCloud for Windows, users can keep their photos up to date across all their devices, including PCs. They can also create shared albums and invite other users to add their photos, videos and comments.

Users need Windows 10 version 18362.145 or later or Windows 11 to install iCloud for Windows.

iCloud for Windows currently includes the following Apple services:

  • iCloud Photos
  • iCloud Drive
  • iCloud Passwords
  • iCloud Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Bookmarks

Download iCloud for Windows completely free at from Microsoft Store. Correct operation in Edge and Chrome browsers requires installation of respective plug-ins.
