Realme Book: 14-inch IPS display, 11th generation Intel Core chips, metal case and price tag from $749

Realme held simultaneous launches today in Europe, India and China to showcase its first laptop, the Realme Book (aka Realme Book Slim).

What's known

The novelty has a fully metal body and a 14-inch IPS display with 2160×1440 pixels resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio and 400 nits peak brightness. The screen is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass tempered glass. 

Under the hood of the device working processors Intel Core i3 and Core i5 11th generation. They're paired with Iris XE integrated graphics, dual-cooler cooling system, 8/16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and a 512GB PCIe SSD. Of the ports, the novelty has Type-C (USB 3), Type-C (USB 4/Thundebold), Type-A (USB 3) and 3.5mm. The software is Windows 10 operating system, but in the future laptop can be upgraded to Windows 11. Of interest, the system has installed PC Connect, which allows you to control Realme smartphones via Wi-Fi Direct.

As for battery life, a 54 Wh battery is responsible for it in the Realme Book. It, according to the company, will last up to 11 hours of use. The novelty comes with a 65W power supply. Thanks to it, the notebook charges via USB-C from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes. By the way, the charger supports the proprietary 30W Dart Charge technology. Therefore, you can also use it to charge compatible Realme smartphones. The laptop has stereo speakers and a fingerprint scanner. 

Price and when to expect

Sales Realme Book will start in the global market soon. For the novelty will be asked from $749. In Ukraine, the notebook will arrive by the end of the year.
