Anker Soundcore R500: Pedigree-free headphones with IPX5 protection, USB-C port and battery life up to 20 hours for $19

Chinese audio equipment and accessories manufacturer Anker has announced new wireless headphones.

What is known

The model is called Anker Soundcore R500. It has a rubberized material construction, as well as IPX5 protection against splashing water and sweat. The novelty is powered by a battery of 195 mAh. This capacity should be enough for up to 20 hours of listening music. Will charge the headphones through USB-C, and connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0. The headphones do not support ANC, but they have a system for suppressing extraneous sounds during conversations. Built-in microphones with AI features are responsible for it.

Price and when to expect

Anker Soundcore R500 has already gone on sale, but so far only in India. The asking price is $19 USD.
