Triple camera, 120Hz screen and Snapdragon 870 - Xiaomi Mi 12T and Redmi K50 specifications became known

Xiaomi has not yet announced the smartphone Mi 11T, and information about the model Mi 12T has already appeared in the web. As part of the same leak, some specifications of the Redmi K50 have also been revealed.

What is known?

Both smartphones will be equipped with a triple main camera with a main, ultra-wide-angle modules and a macro sensor. Parameters are yet to be revealed. That said, the Xiaomi Mi 12T will boast of an optical image stabilization system.

Each of the upcoming novelties will get FHD+ panel with 120 Hz refresh rate. The Xiaomi Mi 12T will feature a fingerprint scanner below the display, while the Redmi K50 appears to have a fingerprint sensor on the side.

This is not the end of the commonality in technical specifications. Both smartphones will feature the Snapdragon 870 (SM8250) 7nm mobile processor. And previously, the Redmi K50 was promised a Snapdragon 890 (an accelerated version of the Snapdragon 888).

Information about the two models was found in the Mi Code sources. The Xiaomi Mi 12T was codenamed Psyche and the Redmi K50 was codenamed Poussin. The smartphones are expected to be announced in 2022, so the rumor should be taken with a grain of skepticism.
