LEGO has unveiled a life-size working model of the legendary Toyota Supra
Yes, it's every parent's worst nightmare and every child's dream come true. LEGO has built a life-size model of the Toyota Supra GR sports car from 477,303 LEGO bricks.
The 1:1 scale model is the result of a three-way collaboration between LEGO Japan, LEGOLAND Japan and Toyota Gazoo Racing to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Toyota Supra.
According to the source, the LEGO model took 3,000 hours of development and another 2,400 hours of construction. It weighs 1,885 kg, almost 200 kg more than the original.
The amazing car is made almost entirely of LEGO details, but the wheels, driver's seat, steering wheel, dashboard and emblem were taken from the real Supra. The headlights, by the way, also work.
What makes the car even better is that it actually works. Yes, yes, you can drive this LEGO car thanks to the electric drive. Although, of course, you will overtake only an electric scooter - the maximum speed of the car is only 28 km/h.
