42 Xiaomi smartphones will get RAM expansion feature - updated list published

The other day we reported that 23 Xiaomi smartphones, including Redmi and POCO brand models, will receive the RAM expansion feature as part of MIUI 12.5 firmware. But an updated list of phones that are promised Memory Fusion Technology has surfaced on the web.

You can read the first list of smartphones in a separate article. It is still relevant, but the number of models, which will get the new feature, has been almost doubled. The list was updated with four more Mi-series smartphones:

• Xiaomi Mi Mix 4;
• Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite NE;
• Xiaomi Mi 11i;
• Xiaomi Mi 10S.

But there are far more Redmi phones:

• Redmi Note 10S;
• Redmi Note 10;
• Redmi Note 10T;
• Redmi Note 10 5G;
• Redmi Note 10 JE;
• Redmi Note 9 5G;
• Redmi Note 9T;
• Redmi Note 8;
• Redmi Note 8T;
• Redmi Note 8 2021;
• Redmi 10;
• Redmi 9;
• Redmi 9C;
• Redmi 9i;
• Redmi 9A.

Note that this list includes Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite NE and Redmi 10 models, which have not even been announced yet. It is likely that the list will be expanded again, given what smartphones are not included in it. For example, even in the updated list there was no room for POCO X3 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite.
