Chinese insider Ice Universe continues to share details about Samsung's new Galaxy Tab S8 range of tablets.

What

According to the insider, Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+ (SM-X806x) and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra (SM-X906x) will not get the proprietary Exynos 2200 processor. Instead, all three novelties will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chips. Incidentally, the SoC will be built on a 4-nanometer processor Samsung. In addition, novelties will boast of fast charging at 45 watts (10V 4.5A).

Recall, the regular Galaxy Tab S8 is credited with 11-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate, 13 MP + 5 MP primary camera, 8-megapixel front camera, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 8GB RAM, 128/256GB ROM, four speakers, S Pen stylus and 8000 mAh battery.

As for the Galaxy Tab S8+, it should get a 12.4-inch screen with 120Hz, a sub-screen fingerprint scanner, a 10090 mAh battery and other specs like the younger model. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, on the other hand, will boast a 14.6-inch OLED screen at 120Hz, 8 or 12GB RAM, 128 or 512GB ROM and a 11500 mAh battery. Rumor has it that the tablet will have a screen to body ratio of 92%. The thickness of the frames will be about 5.5 mm. Such a gadget will cost around $1,300 to $1,500.

When to expect

We shouldn't wait for the announcement of the tablets this year. If everything goes according to plan Samsung will unveil the new items in January 2022.
