Budget smartphone Nokia 3.4 started updating to Android 11
Google is expected to release a stable version of Android 12 in the near future . However, HMD Global has not yet to this: far from all Nokia-branded smartphones have received Android 11 yet. Now it's just the turn of the budget-friendly Nokia 3.4.
Who's updating
So, according to a post on Nokia Phones Community, HMD Global has started rolling out the Android 11 update for the Nokia 3.4. The first wave includes quite a number of countries: Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Cambodia, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Laos, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Nepal, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, UAE, Vietnam.
It is noted that users in these countries will receive the update in the coming days (today and tomorrow). And after that the update roll out will start in other regions.
Recall, Nokia 3.4 debuted in last September with Android 10. Thus, this is the first major update for the smartphone.
