Vivo unveiled its flagship iQOO 8 Pro smartphone in China last week, and now it looks like it's preparing the device for release outside of the Middle Kingdom.

What is known

The device has been spotted in the Google Play Console database. Hence, its global announcement is not far off. Exactly what countries will be sold and how much they will ask for it - no information.

Recall, the device debuted in China with price tag from $770 USD. The smartphone boasts a Snapdragon 888+ chip, a 4,500 mAh battery, 120W ultra-fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and a Samsung E5 120Hz OLED screen. By the way, this is the first device to get such a panel. Experts from DisplayMate even gave it the title of the smartphone with the best screen on the market.

Also, the novelty is equipped with a triple camera with a main sensor of 50 MP (Sony IMX 766). The sensor supports 5-axis stabilization, like in flagship Vivo. The sensor is complemented by a telephoto lens at 48 MP and portrait camera at 16 MP.
