OPPO also unveiled its Apple MagSafe counterpart, the MagVOOC 40W and 20W magnetic charger
At the beginning of the month, brand Realme introduced its proprietary MagDart magnetic charging technology, which became an analogue of Apple MagSafe. As expected, it was followed by other manufacturers from BBK family. Today OPPO demonstrated its development - MagVOOC magnetic charger.
How does it work?
The company has several chargers at once - capacity of 20 and 40 watts. But the principle is the same: the stand holds the smartphone with the help of magnets and without any wires powers the gadget battery. For example, the older version of the charger (40W) is able to charge the battery of an OPPO Ace 2 smartphone with a capacity of 4000 mAh in 56 minutes. Older models, such as the Find X3, can be charged with power up to 30W.
The charger also supports the Qi standard, which means you can charge any device with support for this standard. But in this case power is limited to 15W.
There is also a smaller MagVOOC charger at 20W. It also supports Qi charging, but already power up to 10W.
In addition, OPPO introduced an external MagVOOC Power Bank battery with 4500 mAh capacity, 20W power and wireless charging support.
True, the cost of the new products is not yet known. Also OPPO has not revealed when the accessories will go on sale .
