Unexpectedly: Acer is preparing to release a line of smart TVs with screens from 32 to 70 inches, Android TV on board and the price starting at $269

Acer, which is known for its laptops, monitors and other devices, has decided to take up production of smart TVs.

What is known 

Insider Ishan Agarwal has revealed this. According to him, the company is not preparing a single TV, but an entire lineup. It will include models with screens of 32, 42, 43, 50, 55, 58 and 70 inches. The base model of 32-inch will get a panel with HD resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate, 1.5 GB RAM and two versions: with thick bezels and thin bezels. The 42-inch TV will get a screen already with FHD resolution. All other models will come with 4K screens. Also such devices are attributed 2GB of RAM.

All seven new products will come with Android TV operating system, and Google Assistant, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube apps pre-installed. The TVs will get Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB and HDMI ports, as well as Micro Dimming and Dolby Audio technologies. The new models will be controllable via voice commands and remote control. 

A new range of smart TVs Acer will be launched in India in September. The new products will be priced around $269-945. Whether they will be sold in other regions is unknown.
