OnePlus has released a new update for OnePlus Nord and OnePlus Nord CE: What's new and when to expect the firmware
Two mid-budget OnePlus smartphones have started getting a new system update.
What is known
We are talking about the original OnePlus Nord and OnePlus Nord CE, which was released in June. The first model received the version of OxygenOS 11.1.5.5 in all regions, but with different builds: AC01AA for North America, AC01DA for India and AC01BA for Europe. In the firmware, the developers have improved system stability, as well as added an August security patch and several features for Ambient Display: screenshot creation and Bitmoji AOD. To recap, OnePlus has developed the Bitmoji AOD feature in collaboration with Snapchat. It allows you to create your own interactive avatars and add them to your locked screen.
As for OnePlus Nord CE, it has received OxygenOS 11.0.6.6 update with builds EB13DA for India, EB13BA for Europe and EB13AA for North America. The firmware improves the device's performance and camera. OnePlus has also installed a July security patch and a new GMS (Google Mobile Services) package on the system.
Updates are rolling out in waves, as usual.
