Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 with update got new features
The TWS Galaxy Buds 2 headphones have not yet gone on sale, but Samsung has already released a software update for them with new features.
What is known
The system has the build number R177XXU0AUH2 and has been released so far only in South Korea. The new feature which allows you to activate "transparency" mode (aka Ambient Sound) during calls is the main new feature. After the update there is also an option to activate the noise cancellation system (ANC) using one earphone, as well as the ability to reconfigure the double tap on the edges to adjust the volume. The update should be available in other regions in the coming days.
Recall, Galaxy Buds 2 introduced along with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable smartphones. The headphones feature IPX2 moisture protection, Bluetooth 5.2, ANC, and a battery life of up to 7.5 hours without the case and up to 29 hours with the case. Galaxy Buds 2 can automatically switch between Samsung smartphones and tablets based on One UI 3.1 firmware.
