Oriflame announced a cyber-attack on its official website. As a result, hackers managed to steal passport data of more than 1.3 million customers.

The attackers put the stolen passports up for sale on one of the forums. Experts note that the stolen database may be worth several hundred thousand dollars. It is possible that the hackers demanded a ransom from Oriflame and after the refusal they decided to make the data publicly available.

Representatives of Oriflame said that the hackers didn't get the information about customers' bank cards. The company contacted law enforcement authorities and intends to cooperate in every way possible to assist in the investigation.
